The classic steel mesh basket from the 1920s is as modern and practical as it is now. This basket from Kinetic Baskets’s Bucket series is made of galvanized steel and has a folding handle that makes it easy to move the basket from room to room. Use the basket to store everything from blankets to outerwear, or why not fill it with a blissful blend of bottles.
Observe that there is a risk of corrosion if the surface is damaged, therefore be careful so you don’t scratch the surface or use chemicals. Galvanized steel has been used for more than 150 years and the surface of the wire will eventually have a beautiful matte patina.
